2. Get started

Product overview

Designed for an active lifestyle, BHS-0083 Clip Bluetooth Stereo Headset

combines the stylish design and reliable technology in the ideal mini size

units.

With Bluetooth wireless technology, BHS-0083 Clip gives you the conven-

ient wireless way to enjoy the streaming stereo music transmitted from the

Bluetooth A2DP(*1) - Source device such as a mp3 player, PC or PDA in the

available range.

Moreover, you can use BHS-0083 Clip to remote control the music playing

functions of your Bluetooth device if it supports Bluetooth AVRCP(*2) in ad-

dition.

Switching between music and phone calls, BHS-0083 Clip also allows you

answer or make calls with the Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone(*3) while you

are listening to music. After you ended the call, the music will follow to be

streamed in few seconds(*4). Besides the wireless stereo and mobile hands-

free applications, you can apply the BHS-0083 Clip to the Bluetooth-enabled

PC(*5) with the Internet messenger such as Skype., MSN Messenger or Ya-

hoo! Messenger.

3. How to use BHS-0083 Clip

Paring

Pairing is the process of establishing encrypted link between BHS-0083 Clip

and Bluetooth devices.

Step 1: In the off state, press and hold multifunction key for about 8 second

until the red and blue LED ash alternatively.

Step 2: Follow the operating instruction of your Bluetooth mobile phone to

start the pairing process. Typically, this is done by going to a ”Connect” or

“Setup” menu and then selecting the option to search the BHS-0083 Clip that

is still in the pairing mode

Step 3: The mobile will nd BHS-0083 Clip headset and ask whether you are

willing to connect your mobile with the headset. Press “Yes” or “Conrm” to

conrm this action.

Step 4: The mobile phone’s display should then prompt you for a passkey or

PIN. Enter 0000 (a sequence of four zeros) and the display should prompt

the pairing result.

If the connection is successful, the blue LED of the headset will ash 3 times.

Then blue LED will ash one time every 7 seconds.

If the pairing is unsuccessful, please turn off the headset and turn it on again.

Then, return to Step-1 and do the pairing procedure again.

Turn on the headset: Press the multifunc-•

tion button for 3 seconds antil the blue LED

ashes and there is a beep prompt from

the headset.

Turn off the headset: Press and hold the•

multifunction button until the blue LED

is on 2 times slowly and there is a beep

prompt from the headset.

Enter Paring mode: Press the multifunction•

button for 8 seconds until the red and blue

LED ash alternatively.

Answer a call: Press one time.•

End a call: Press one time after nishing •

Make a Call

Step 1: Use the mobile phone’s keypad to dial the phone number.

Step 2: Press mobile phone’s “Send” or “OK” key. The mobile phone initiates

the call and transfer the call from the mobile phone to the headset.

Normally speaking: if there is no disturbance between headset and mobile,

the voice quality is better.

Voice dialing (dialing a number by saying a name)

It is possible to make a call directly from the headset using voice recognition.

To use this voice dialing function, your mobile phone must provide this option

and corresponding voice samples must have been recorded.

Step 1: Press the multifunction button of the headset one time, you will hear

a beep prompt.

Step 2: When you hear a short tone, say the name of the person you wish

to call loudly.

End a Call

Use either of the following methods to end a call.

Method 1: Press multifunction key one time To end a call from the headset.

Method 2: End a call from the mobile phone’s keypad. In the meantime you

are answering or making a call, the headset will switch the connection from

the music player (A2DP) to the mobile phone (HSP or HFP); moreover, the

streaming music will be paused temporarily. After you ended the call, the

music will be played and streamed to the headset continuously.

Answer a Call

Step 1: If there is an incoming call while you are listening to the streaming

music, you will hear beep prompt from headset.

Step 2: Just press multifunction key one time.

Notes: When you press multifunction key to answer or end a call, please just

press one time. Do not press and hold.

Adjust volume

You can press the four-direction button of volume +/- key to adjust volume.

Redial the last dialed number

Press and hold multifunction key for 2 second to redial the last dialed

number.

Trouble shooting:

If disconnection occurs, please check the following factors:

1) Ensure that the headset has enough power, is turned on and has been

successfully paired to the mobile.

2) The Bluetooth function of the mobile is enabled.

3) Check whether the range between the headset and mobile is over 10

meters (about 30 feet). Or there is wall or other disturbance or other electrical

devices between headset and mobile.

4. Battery information

Battery and Charging Notice

We use rechargeable battery for BHS-0083 Clip. Please make sure the bat-

tery has been fully charged and fully released when the beginning of three

times use it for keep the battery has the best performance.

Always use correct AC Power Adapter to charge the headset. Using any in-

correct power supply device will cause damage and void the warranty.

After nished charging, please pull out the cable from the headset and plug

the adaptor from the electricity outlet.

Do not put the headset in charging state for a long time. This will shorten the

lifetime of the battery.

Do not use the headset in too hot or too cold environment. It is recommended

to keep the environment temperature between 15°C and 25°C.

Dot not install, place or use the headset near any source of heat such as

a stove, radiator, oven, toaster, coffee maker or other apparatus (including

microwave oven) that gives off heat.

2. Erste Schritte

Produktbeschreibung

Das Bluetooth-Stereo-Headset BHS-0083 Clip wurde für den aktiven Leb-

ensstil entwickelt. Es vereint stylisches Design mit zuverlässiger Technik in

handlicher Größe.

Durch die drahtlose Bluetooth-Technologie ermöglicht dieses Stereo-Head-

set Ihnen größtmöglichen Komfort beim Musikgenuss von einer in Reich-

weite bendlichen Bluetooth - A2DP(*1) - Quelle, beispielsweise einem MP3-

Player, PC oder Palm.

Darüber hinaus können Sie das Bluetooth-Stereo-Headset als Fernbedi-

enung für Ihr Bluetooth-Gerät verwenden, sofern dieses das Bluetooth-Pro-

tokoll AVRCP(*2) unterstützt.

Das Stereo-Headset schaltet automatisch von Musik zu einem eingehenden

Anruf um, sodass Sie mit Ihrem Bluetooth-Handy(*3) jederzeit Anrufe entge-

gennohmen können, während Sie Musik hören. Nachdem der Anruf been-

det ist, wird das Abspielen der Musik wieder aufgenommen(*4). Neben dem

drahtlosen Stereoempfang und der Sprachbedienung des Handys bietet das

BHS-0083 Clip auch eine Verbindung zu Ihrem Bluetooth-fähigen PC(*5),

über den Sie dann Internetkommunikation mit Skype, MSN Messenger, Ya-

hoo! Messenger und vielen anderen nutzen können.

3. Bedienung des BHS-0083 Clip

Paaren

Paaren wird der Prozess genannt, bei dem zwischen dem BHS-0083 Clip

und anderen

Bluetooth-Geräten eine verschlüsselte Verbindung hergestellt wird.

Schritt 1: Ist das Gerät noch ausgeschaltet, drücken und halten Sie den Mul-

tifunktionsknopf für ca. 8 Sekunden, bis die rote und die blaue LED abwech-

selnd aueuchten.

Schritt 2: Folgen Sie der Beschreibung für Ihr Bluetooth-Handy (oder an-

deres Gerät), um das Paaren zu starten. Meist geschieht das in einem Menü,

das “Verbindung” oder “Setup” heißt. Wählen Sie dort die Option, Geräte

zu suchen und wählen Sie dann das BHS-0083 Clip aus der Liste der ge-

fundenen Geräte aus.

Schritt 3: Wenn das Handy das Headset BHS-0083 Clip gefunden hat, wer-

den Sie gefragt, ob Sie Ihr Handy damit verbinden möchten. Bestätigen Sie

dies mit “Ja”.

Schritt 4: Auf dem Display des Handys wird nun eine Aufforderung zur PIN-

Eingabe erscheinen. Geben Sie 0000 (vier Nullen) ein und das Paaren

sollte beginnen.

Wenn die Verbindung erfolgreich hergestellt wurde, wird die blaue LED

dreimal blinken. Danach wird die blaue LED alle 7 Sekunden blinken. War

das Paaren nicht erfolgreich, schalten Sie das Headset bitte aus und wieder

ein. Danach wiederholen Sie die Schritte 1 bis 4, um das Paaren erneut zu

starten.

(1) Multifunktionsknopf

Um das Headset einzuschalten: •

Halten Sie den Multifunktionsknopf für ca.

3 Sekunden gedrückt, bis die blaue LED

aueuchtet und Sie im Headset einen Be-

Um das Headset auszuschalten: Halten •

die blaue LED zweimal langsam blinkt und

Paaren einschalten: Halten Sie den Multi-•

funktionsknopf für ca. 8 Sek. gedrückt, bis

Anruf annehmen: Einmal drücken.•

Anruf beenden: Nach Ende des Gesprächs•

einmal drücken.

Anrufen

Schritt 1: Wählen Sie die gewünschte Telefonnummer auf den Tasten Ihres

Handys.

Schritt 2: Drücken Sie nun auf Ihrem Handy den Verbindungsknopf. Das Ge-

spräch wird nun hergestellt und über das Headset übertragen.

Normal sprechen: Wenn es keine Störung zwischen dem Headset und dem

Handy gibt, ist die Gesprächsqualität besser.

Sprachwahl (wählen der Telefonnummer durch Ansage)

Mit dem Headset können Sie einen Anruf auch direkt über Spracheingabe

starten. Dazu muss Ihr Handy diese Funktion unterstützen und Sie müs-

sen vorher die entsprechenden Sprachbefehle in Ihrem Handy gespeichert

haben.

Schritt 1: Drücken Sie den Multifunktionsknopf Ihres Headsets einmal;

Sie sollten einen Bestätigungston hören.

Schritt 2: Wenn Sie einen kurzen Ton gehört haben, sagen Sie laut den Na-

men der Person, die Sie anrufen möchten.

Anruf beenden

Es gibt zwei Methoden, um ein Gespräch zu beenden:

Methode 1: Drücken Sie den Multifunktionsknopf einmal, um ein Gespräch

über das Headset zu beenden.

Methode 2: Beenden Sie das Gespräch mit dem dafür vorgesehenen Knopf

auf Ihrem Handy.

Sobald Sie einen Anruf starten oder ein eingehendes Gespräch entgegen-

nehmen, schaltet das Headset automatisch von dem Musikabspielgerät auf

Ihr Handy um (A2DP-Unterstützung vorausgesetzt).

Wird auch HSP oder HFP unterstützt, dann läuft die Musik nicht einfach weit-

er, sondern wird für die Dauer des Gesprächs auf “Pause” gesetzt.

Nachdem Sie Ihr Gespräch beendet haben, wird die Musik weiter abgespielt

und auf das Headset übertragen.

Anruf entgegennehmen

Schritt 1: Bei einem eingehenden Gespräch während der Musikwiedergabe

hören Sie einen Anklopfton im Headset.

Schritt 2: Drücken Sie den Multifunktionsknopf einmal.

Anmerkung: Bitte drücken Sie den Multifunktionsknopf nur einmal, um ein

Gespräch entgegenzunehmen. Halten Sie den Knopf nicht gedrückt.
