2.1 CONTROL BUTTONS
Function User Entry
Answer a call During an incoming call, press key to
answer the phone.
Ending a call Press key to hang up the phone.
Redial a call Press key for 5 sec.
Voice dialing Press key. (To use this feature please
check if handset supports voice dialing.)
Enter pairing mode When Bluetooth is disconnected,
press key for 3 sec. The LED will be
in to
flash rapidly.
To disconnect Bluetooth Press key for 3 sec to switch to handset.
To reconnect to Bluetooth device
during a call. During the phone call, press key for 3
Sec.
Powering Off Disconnect the Bluetooth, press key for
5 sec. After the tone, release the key.
Powering On Press key for 3 sec. After the tone,
release the key.
Volume Press +or -key to adjust volume.
2.2 LED INDICATOR
Charging RED LED ON
Fully Charged RED LED OFF
Pairing Mode BLUE LED FLASH RAPIDLY
No Bluetooth Connected BLUE LED FLASH SLOWLY
Bluetooth Connected BLUE LED STEADY ON
2.3 CHARGING THE UNIT
Before using the BT-1238-TTS for the fist time, charge the unit for at least 6 hours.
1. Plug in the mini USB into the port located at the side of the unit
2. Plug the other end into the USB port located on the PC/Notebook or the car charger
adaptor. (If plugged it into the adaptor then plug the adaptor into the appropriate port in
the car.)
3. The red LED will then turn on as the battery begins to charge. When the unit is completely
charged, the red LED will turn off automatically.
2.4 TALK TO SPEAK (TTS) System
Talk to speak (TTS) system converts normal language text into speech.
1. When BT-1238-TTS is in the pairing mode, the unit will speak “Start Pairing”.
2. When you’re done pairing, the unit will speak “Pairing Stop”.
3. When the mobile phone connects to the BT-1238-TTS, the unit will speak “Connected”.
