cannot be predicted or avoided. Those risks include but are not limited to personal injury or death, property
damage which may result from loss of control, collisions with other users or watercraft swimmers, and natural and
man-made objects and/or animals/plants. By choosing to use a Bixpy product you assume these risks and
thereby need to know and practice water safety rules, responsible motoring and proper use and maintenance of
your Bixpy product(s) to reduce these risks. Since it is impossible to anticipate every situation or condition which

WARNINGS & PRECAUTIONS
Please read and keep these warnings and precautions handy for future reference. Failure to safely operate and
care for your Bixpy products can result in loss of warranty, property damage, serious injury or death.
NEVER use Bixpy Jets to go further than you can swim, paddle or pedal back on your own power. Like any other
electronic device there is a chance that at any moment your device may cease to function as expected. Always
ensure that its seizure will not put you in danger.
In case of a malfunction whereby the thruster will not stop operating, remove thruster from water as soon as
possible and unplug from Power Pack. Remember in an emergency it is better to abandon your device than to risk
your well being.
You must take the following precautions when using a Bixpy Products:
• ALWAYS use the charger shipped with your Bixpy Batteries only
• Never manipulate the Power Packs and batteries by plugging them into each other in series or parallel
• Bixpy Outboard batteries are ONLY made to run Bixpy motors
• DO NOT open the battery core portion as you may cause a fire or an explosion
• Never use under the influence of drugs or alcohol
• Not to be used by children under 8 years old
• Must be used by all children only under adult supervision
• Misuse can lead to serious injury or death
• Always rinse in clean fresh water after use in salt water
• Do not expose bare connectors to water - connectors are only waterproof when mated
• Always use provided connector caps when connectors are not mated
• Operate and store above 0°C (32°F) and below 45°C (113°F)
• Do not use harsh chemicals to clean any Bixpy products
• NEVER spray Bixpy Products with anything - including paints and/or water sealants

MATING YOUR PP-768 TO YOUR BIXPY MOTOR
The first few times you connect your device the connectors are more difficult to mate until they are “broken-in”. DO
NOT use force pliers or other tools to mate your connectors. Be patient and use a towel for better grip if
necessary. Over-tightening the connectors will NOT provide a better water seal and broken connectors are not
covered under warranty.
In general it is a good idea to fill your connectors with dielectric grease before mating especially if you use your
equipment in or near salt water.
The connector caps on your Power Pack housing and adapter wires are there to protect your connectors during
storage and transportation. Remove the caps that will be submerged or they will come off and be lost with water
flow. The connector cap on your charging and main power output ports must be installed tightly at all times when
near water. NOTE: Never cap and store a wet connector!

Align the 2 tabs on your motor connector (1) with the two notches on the battery output (2).
Hint: Look for the two tabs inside your connector nut - always double check that your o-ring is in place before
mating your connector. Use dielectric grease to make mating easier and prolong the life of your connectors by
reducing corrosion.

Your remote is mated to your PP-768 using Bluetooth technology. Only
Bixpy Remotes with the Bluetooth logo will be able to sync to your PP-768.
Older Bixpy Remotes will not sync to your PP-768.
To check whether your Remote and Power Pack are already synced

only. If you hear a series of beeps then your remote is already synced to
your Power Pack.

your kill switch. Within 20 seconds after you activate your Power Pack
follow the key sequence below:
Press Stop 3 times

Press Reverse 1 time
Press Stop 1 time
SYNCING YOUR REMOTE TO YOUR POWER PACK
If syncing is successful you will hear a series of beeps from your battery on the last button press. If not remove the
kill switch wait 10 seconds and try again.
The Bixpy Remote control is equipped with a watch battery CR2032 which is a readily available battery on-line or
at many retail stores. If the red LED light on your remote is very weak or not lighting up when you press buttons
you will need to replace the battery. Please visit www.bixpy.com/guides for instructions on how to replace your
remote battery.
Page 7

Placing your kill switch on your Power Pack will turn your
system on and your battery level will be indicated on the white
LED battery status window. Six white lit LED lights indicate a full
battery and a drained battery will show no lights or a single
flashing LED light.
Once your Bixpy Motor is connected and your OPP is activated
you will be able to operate your motor using your Bixpy Remote
Control. The Power Pack provides 12 forward speeds 3 reverse
speeds, a 13th Turbo Speed in forward beyond the 12th speed,
and a full stop function. DO NOT run your motor in air at higher
speeds or for any significant amount of time. It is okay to run
your motor in air at lower speeds for about 5 to 10 seconds for
verification purposes.
OPERATING YOUR BIXPY PP-768 AND BIXPY MOTOR
If you motor is not running as expected and shakes and vibrates or runs in the wrong direction the most common
reason is a poorly mated connector which will lead to water intake and shorting of the connector pins. Remove
your connector, dry everything and reconnect your Power Pack following the correct mating procedure. Repeated
failed connections can result in damage to the motor and/or Power Pack which is not covered under warranty.
As your battery drains from use your white LED indicators will turn off one by one until you reach the last LED. As
your battery approaches empty the last white LED will start flashing to indicate that you will soon lose power. Once
the last LED begins to flash you will have less than 10% of the battery left before it shuts off completely.
Your Bixpy Outboard Power Pack turns on and off using the provided magnetic kill switch with leash. Wear
your kill switch and leashes on your body at ALL TIMES.

will turn red when the charger is charging your battery.
Your 6 white LED lights will also start flashing to indicate that the charging cycle is active.
Once your battery is full, all 6 white LEDs will stay on until you remove the charger. The red LED on your
charger will turn green and stay green permanently.
