Using Your Cordless Kettle
WARNING: Do not use the kettle without the filter properly in place. If
your kettle is used without the filter, it will not automatically shut off
after boiling. For further instructions please see page 9.
1. Always ensure that the kettle is unplugged when you are filling or
adding more water to it.
2. The kettle can be filled through the pour spout or by opening the lid.
Use the lid release button to open the lid.
3. Fill the kettle with cold water to the desired level. Do not overfill the
kettle, as this may cause spilling or sputtering during boiling.
4. Do not fill with less than 0.5 L (17 fl.oz.) of water to prevent the kettle
from boiling dry. The minimum water level is marked on the water level
indicator as “MIN”.
5. Do not fill with more than 1.7L (57 fl.oz.) of water to prevent the kettle
from boiling over. The maximum water level is marked on the water
level indicator as “MAX”.
6. Close the lid after filling. The kettle will only automatically shut off after
boiling if the lid and the filter are in place. Press the lid down firmly to
ensure it locks into place.
7. Place the power base on a flat, dry surface.
8. Place the kettle on the power base. Be sure to align the connections. The
electrical connection will be made automatically as the kettle slides onto
the power base.
9. Plug the cord into a grounded power socket.
10. Switch the kettle on by moving the power switch into the “I” position.
The power switch will now illuminate orange, indicating that your kettle
is turned on.
11. When the water has boiled, the kettle will shut off automatically. After
allowing the kettle to cool down for 15 - 20 seconds, the water can be
brought back to a boil by pushing the power switch into the “I” position.
Do not force the power switch into the “I” position during the cooling
down time, as this can damage your kettle’s operating mechanism.
12. Your kettle has an automatic shut-off safety feature that protects against
overheating. It will operate if the kettle is switched on when it does not
contain enough water. If the automatic safety shut-off has occurred,
switch the kettle off, disconnect it from the power outlet and allow it to
cool for approximately 15 minutes. Refill the kettle with sufficient water

1. Assurez-vous toujours que la bouilloire est débranchée lorsque vous la
remplissez ou que vous y ajoutez de l’eau.
2. Vous pouvez remplir la bouilloire par le bec verseur ou en ouvrant le
couvercle. Utilisez le bouton de déverrouillage du couvercle pour l’ouvrir.
3. Remplissez la bouilloire d’eau froide jusqu’au niveau désiré. Ne la
remplissez pas trop car l’eau risquerait de déborder ou d’éclabousser en
cours d’échauffement.
4. Ne mettez pas moins de 0,5 L (17 fl.oz.) d’eau dans la bouilloire afin
d’éviter un dessèchement par ébullition. Le niveau d’eau minimum requis
est marqué sur l’indicateur de niveau d’eau en tant que « MIN ».
5. N’y mettez pas plus de 1,7 L (57 fl.oz.) d’eau afin d’éviter tout
débordement. Le niveau d’eau maximal est marqué sur l’indicateur de
niveau d’eau en tant que « MAX ».
6. Fermez le couvercle après avoir rempli la bouilloire. La bouilloire ne
s’éteindra automatiquement après l’ébullition que si le couvercle et le filtre
sont en place. Appuyez fermement sur le couvercle pour vous assurer
qu’il est bien verrouillé en place.
7. Mettez le socle d’alimentation sur une surface sèche et plane.
8. Mettez la bouilloire sur le socle d’alimentation. Assurez-vous d’aligner les
connecteurs. Le contact électrique se fait automatiquement lorsque la
bouilloire est placée sur le socle d’alimentation.
9. Branchez le cordon sur une prise mise à la terre.
10. Mettez la bouilloire en marche en plaçant l’interrupteur sur la position
« I ». Le voyant d’alimentation s’allume en orange pour indiquer que la
bouilloire est mise en circuit.
11. Lorsque l’eau a bouilli, la bouilloire s’éteint automatiquement. Après
avoir laissé la bouilloire se refroidir de 15 à 20 secondes, vous pouvez faire
bouillir l’eau à nouveau en remettant l’interrupteur sur « I ». Ne forcez
pas l’interrupteur sur « I » durant la période de refroidissement, car vous
pourriez endommager le mécanisme de fonctionnement de la bouilloire.
12. Votre bouilloire est dotée d’une fonction sécuritaire de mise hors circuit
automatique qui protège contre la surchauffe. Ce mécanisme se déclenche
lorsque vous mettez la bouilloire en marche alors qu’elle ne contient
