ATTENZIONE
• Prima di procedere all’installazione, leggere attentamente le seguenti istruzioni.
• Non utilizzare questo componente per scopi o su applicazioni diverse da quelle per cui è stato espres-
samente progettato.
• In caso di riparazione e/o manutenzione, utilizzare esclusivamente componenti originali.
1. Limiti di impiego
Il bordo sensibile SC.RES può essere usato come dispositivo di sicurezza per porte e cancelli motorizzati.
Forza di azionamento perpendicolare 50N.
Forza di azionamento a 45°: 350N.
Può funzionare esposto agli agenti atmosferici e ad un intervallo di temperatura compreso tra -10°C e +50°C
con una umidità relativa max. del 93%.
Lunghezza massima di utilizzo 50 metri.
N.B.: Teme le benzine, gli olii, i solventi e gli acidi.
2. Procedura di montaggio e sigillatura
1) Tagliare il profilo della lunghezza desiderata (fig. 1).
2) Solo per articolo SC.90
Tagliare a 45° il profilo possibilmente utilizzando l’apposita cesoia (art. SC.F).
Inserire i chiodini angolati ”L” per creare la continuità dei conduttori ”C” annegati nella gomma. Incollare
il tappo ”T” sui due spezzoni di profilo (fig. 2).
3) Per inserire correttamente il tappo di chiusura con bordo, la base del profilo deve essere tagliata per
12mm. Il taglio deve essere fatto con cura per assicurare una superficie perfettamente liscia (fig. 3).
4) Pulire mediante carta abrasiva la parte indicata (fig. 4).
5) Il tappo di chiusura ha quattro uscite preformate sigillate. Scegliere l’uscita per il cavo desiderata to-
gliendo la sigillatura mediante un punzone (fig. 5).
6) Inserire e far scorrere il cavo di connessione attraverso l’uscita desiderata (fig. 6).
7) Premere ed infilare i contatti ad ago del connettore nella direzione mostrata, in modo assiale ai fili anne-
gati nella gomma (fig. 7).
8) Inserire i contatti ad ago della resistenza all’altro capo del profilo (fig. 8).
N.B.: Prima di procedere alla sigillatura del profilo con i tappi controllare con un tester che la resistenza
ai capi del cavo di connessione sia compresa tra 7.8 ed 8.6 kΩ.
9) Applicare l’adesivo cianoacrilato in modo regolare sulla superficie pulita del profilo ed immediatamente
mettere il tappo sul profilo applicando una pressione per circa 10 sec.
Importante: Applicare l’adesivo su tutta l’area descritta procedendo come segue:
• Rivoltare il bordo del tappo (fig. 9).
• Applicare l’adesivo sulla faccia terminale ed applicarvi il tappo (fig. 10).
• Applicare l’adesivo su tutta la superficie perimetrale rimasta e distendere il bordo assicurandosi che
aderisca perfettamente al profilo.
Attenzione: la parte a punta del connettore deve essere rivolta verso l’esterno (fig. 10).
10) Per assicurare la completa sigillatura applicare altro adesivo attorno al bordo del tappo e dell’uscita
scelta (fig. 11).
11) Riprendere per l’altra estremità del bordo sensibile le istruzioni precedenti per il montaggio del tappo
della resistenza.
3. Collegamenti
Caratteristiche generali centrale per SC.RES.
Alimentazione: 24Vac ± 10% o 24Vdc ± 10%.
Assorbimento: 60mA max.
Uscita: Contatto normalmente chiuso.
Ingresso: Linea con terminazione resistiva da 8.2kOhm ± 5%.
Indicatori di stato:
OK: La linea di ingresso è terminata correttamente. Il contatto di uscita è chiuso.
O.C.: La linea di ingresso è aperta. Il contatto di uscita è aperto.
S.C.: La linea di ingresso è in corto circuito. Il contatto di uscita è aperto.
Note: In assenza di alimentazione il contatto di uscita è aperto.

Collegamenti.
Collegare i morsetti 1,2 o 3,4 a seconda del tipo di alimentazione fornito dall’unità di controllo.
4. Rottamazione e smaltimento
Qualora il bordo sensibile dovesse essere rottamato, si dovrà provvedere allo smaltimento a seconda delle
norme vigenti nel Paese di installazione.
5. Manutenzione
• Astenersi assolutamente dal tentativo di effettuare riparazioni, potreste incorrere in incidenti; per queste
operazioni contattare un tecnico specializzato.
• Il bordo sensibile non richiede manutenzioni ordinarie.
Attenzione
Tutti i prodotti Benincà sono coperti da polizza assicurativa che risponde di eventuali danni a cose o persone
causati da difetti di fabbricazione, richiede però la marcatura CE della ”macchina” e l’utilizzo di componenti
originali Benincà.

WARNING

1. Use limits
The safety edge SC.RES can be used as a safety device for motorised doors and gates. Perpendicular op-
erating force: 50N.
Operating force at 45°: 350N.
This item can operate outdoor and at an ambient temperature ranging from –10° to +50° with a relative max
humidity of 93%.
Max operating range: 50m.
N.B.: Do not put this product in contact with petrol, oils, solvents and acids.
2. assembly and sealing procedure
1) Cut the edge at the desired length (fig. 1).
2) For item SC.90 only:
Cut the edge at 45°, possibly using the special scissors (item SC.F).
Insert the “L” nails to create continuity with “C” conductors inserted in the rubber. Fit the “T” cap with
glue on the two edge ends (Fig. 2).
3) To correctly insert the closing cap the base of the edge should be cut for 12 mm. The cut should be ac-
curate to endure a perfectly smooth surface (Fig. 3).
4) Clean the indicated part with abrasive paper (Fig. 4).
5) The closing cap features four pre-formed holes. Choose the desired hole to insert the cable and remove
the plastic with a pointed tool (Fig. 5).
6) Insert the cable through the hole (Fig. 6).
7) Insert the needle contacts in the connector, as shown in the figure, axially positioned with respect to the
wires in the rubber (Fig. 7).
8) Insert the needle contacts of the resistance at the opposite end of the safety edge (Fig. 8).
N.B.: Before sealing the edge with the caps, check that the resistance at the end of the connecting cable
is between 7.8 and 8.6 kΩ.
9) Apply the adhesive tape on the clean surface of the edge and insert the cap immediately, then press on
the cap for about 10 sec.
Important: Apply the adhesive tape on the entire area described, proceeding as follows:
· Turn over the edge of the cap (Fig. 9)
· Apply the glue at the end of the safety edge and apply the cap (Fig. 10)
· Apply the glue on the rest of the surface, unfold the cap edge and make it adhere perfectly to the safety
edge.
Warning: the tip of the connector should be turned towards the outside (Fig. 10).
10) To ensure the complete sealing, apply some glue around the edge of the cap and the hole used (Fig.
11).
11) For the closing cap at the other end of the safety edge, follow instructions given before the assembly of
the resistance cap.
3. Wire connections
General characteristics of the unit for SC.RES
Power supply: 24Vac ± 10% or 24Vdc ± 10%
Consumption: max 60mA
Output: Normally closed contact
Input: Line with 8.2kOhm ± 5% resistive terminal
Status indicators:
OK: The input line is correctly provided with terminals. The output contact is closed.
O.C.: The input line is open. The output contact is open.
S.C.: The input line is short-circuited. The output contact is open.
Note: In case of power failure, the output contact is open.

4. Disposal of the unit
Disposal of the safety edge should be in compliance with regulations in force in the country of installation.
5. Servicing
· Due to hazard risks, it is mandatory not to attempt to repair the product yourself. Repairs should be made
by qualified personnel.
· No ordinary maintenance is required for this safety edge.
Warning
All Benincà products are covered by insurance regarding any damage to objects or persons due to manufacture
faults, under the condition that the “machine” be marked EC and Benincà original elements be used.
