1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Important Warnings
Before using your appliance read this instructions manual carefully and
keep it in a safe place as you may need to consult it in the future.
Before turning on your appliance, and to ensure a safe and correct
operation, do not use if:
• It has fallen to the ground;
• You notice any evidence of damage;
• Any anomaly occurs during its operation.
To avoid hazards or deterioration of your appliance through incorrect
use it is advisable to read these instructions thoroughly.
Your appliance may not be used for other purposes than the ones
intended and solely for household use. Any damage resulting from
using the appliance outside this scope, any incorrect use, as well as
any manual modifications to the product will not be covered and
automatically voids the warranty.

In case of malfunction, take your appliance to a qualified technician for
assistance.
This appliance can be used by children from the age of 8 and by
people with reduced physical, sensorial or mental capabilities and/or
lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given instructions
on using the appliance safely and if they understand the hazards
involved. Children may not play with the appliance. Cleaning and
maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision.

1.1. Power Supply
Make sure the main voltage is compatible with the appliance’s. If this is
not the case please consult the Customer Support Service.
1.2. Power Cord and Other Cables
Do not tangle the cord or pull it to disconnect the appliance. Also, keep
the cord away from warm surfaces.
Never use the appliance if it has a damaged cable or socket.
Take it to the Technical Support Service for replacement.
1.3. Humidity and Water
Do not use your appliance in humid places. Do not allow the appliance
to become wet under any circumstances as this may be dangerous.
To avoid fire hazard or electric shock do not expose your appliance
to humidity or water. Furthermore, do not place your appliance under
water (e.g. for cleaning).

1.4. Cleaning
Before cleaning, be sure to switch o the appliance and remove the
plug from the main power supply. Always allow the unit to cool down
before cleaning.
To clean the exterior of the product use a dry soft cloth only.
1.5. General Precautions
• Please follow the instructions of the user manual, which helps
properly installing and operating this product and enjoying its
advanced features. Please keep the instructions for future reference.
• Read all instructions before using the product.
• Maintenance and service operations are only to be carried out by
authorized professionals.
• Any damage caused by manual modifications to the product is not
covered by the warranty.
• If this product is used for other purposes than the ones originally
intended, or if it is not correctly connected, the product may become
damaged and the warranty will be voided.
2. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
• Check that the voltage of your electrical installation corresponds to
that indicated on the appliance.
• Unplug the product from the power supply if it is not being used.
• Do not use any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after any
malfunction or damage.
• To avoid danger, damaged power cords must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its after-sales service or a qualified technician.

• Always unplug the device from the wall outlet before cleaning.
• Never move the device by pulling the power cord.
• Ensure that there is no risk of the power cord becoming entangled.
• Always use the appliance on a flat, stable surface.
• Do not touch hot surfaces.
• This appliance is not a toy. Do not allow small children or disabled
persons to play with it.
• Do not use attachments that are not recommend for use with this
appliance or that are not sold by the manufacturer.
• Never leave the appliance unattended when in use.
• Disconnect the appliance from the power supply before replacing
accessories or cleaning it.
• Disconnect the appliance from the power supply if it is going to be
left unattended, and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning it.
• After use and before carrying out any cleaning or maintenance
operations, make sure that the unit is disconnected from the mains
and has cooled down completely.
• The appliance becomes hot during and after operation, which is
normal given the purpose for which it is designed. Avoid contact
with skin as this may cause severe skin burns.
• Appliance suitable for household use.

• Use the appliance to boil natural water at normal temperature only.
Never use any liquid other than natural water and never use when
empty to avoid causing damage to the heating element.
• The water level should not exceed the maximum level indicated on
the kettle, to prevent water from boiling over or the risk of serious
burns.
• The lid must be properly closed during use. The lid must never
be open during use, otherwise this may result in serious burns.
• To avoid serious burns, special care must be taken when pouring
boiling water.
• Before removing the appliance from the base, make sure that it
is switched o by pressing the On/O button.
• This appliance must only be used with the base provided by
the vendor.

2.2. Using the Product
Ensure that all packaging material has been removed before using the
appliance. To remove any manufacturing residue, use 2 or 3 times in
succession by following the instructions described below.
• Place the appliance on a stable flat surface, where it is protected
from impacts and away from the edges.
• Open the kettle’s lid by pulling the slot to open the lid and fill it with
natural water at normal temperature.
• Close the lid by pushing downwards until it slots into place.
• The water level should not be below the minimum level (0.5 L) nor
above the maximum level (1.5 L) shown on the kettle.
• Place the kettle on the base, making sure that it is properly docked.
• Ensure that the On/O switch is in the o position before plugging
the appliance into an outlet.
• Plug the appliance into a power outlet that is in good working
condition and earthed. Check that the mains voltage is compatible
with that shown on the appliance.
• Press the On/O switch into the On position, the operating indicator
light will light up.
• The appliance switches o automatically when the water reaches
boiling point.
• If you wish to switch o the appliance before the water reaches
boiling point, press the On/O switch into the O position.
• The operating indicator light switches o when the water reaches
boiling point or when the On/O switch is pressed into the O position.

• Unplug the power cord after use.
• The kettle’s outer surface and the water inside become very hot
during operation and remain hot for some time.
• Only pick the kettle up using the handle. Also be careful with the hot
steam released from the kettle.
NOTE: Before removing the kettle from the base make sure that the
On/O switch is in the O position.
2.3. Maintenance
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Unplug the appliance’s base from the power outlet before cleaning
and allow the appliance to cool down completely.
• Do not use abrasive cleaning detergents.
• Clean the outer surface of the kettle and base with a dry or slightly
moistened cloth and then dry with a clean, dry cloth.
• Open the kettle lid, remove the filter and rinse under lukewarm water
to clean any impurities.
• Fill the kettle with 0.5 L of water, add the juice of one lemon and
switch the appliance on until the water starts boiling.
• Once the appliance has switched o, pour all the water out and wait
for the appliance to cool down completely. Gently wipe the inside of
the kettle and rinse it 2 or 3 times in succession.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquid.
NOTE: All maintenance operations must be performed after the device
has been unplugged from the power outlet. Do not allow water to come
into contact with the power cord, plug or the connector on the base.
