Intended Use and Operation
WARNING
• Intended use: Jacks are only intended to be used for lifting vehicles.
• Always use the device as intended.
• The end user shall not, without written authorization from the manufacturer, modify, use or knowingly employ the
product for any purpose other than its intended use as specified in this user manual.
• Do not move or transport the vehicle while on the jack.
• Ensure that no person is present near or under the load being lifted or supported.
• Chock the wheels of the vehicle remaining on the floor or ground.
• Position the load in the middle of the head cap.
LIMITATION OF RANGE OF APPLICATION AS
• Operation in severe conditions (e.g. extreme climates, freezer application, strong magnetic fields);
• Operation subject to special rules (e.g. potentially explosive atmospheres, mines);
• Supply by electrical networks where the tolerances in voltage, frequency etc. differ from those in the public
supplies;
• Prohibition on lifting of persons;
• Handling of loads, the nature of which could lead to dangerous situations (e.g. molten metal, acids, radiating
materials, especially brittle loads);
• It is necessary that the operator can watch the lifting device and the load during all movements;
• Immediately after lifting, support the vehicle with rated vehicle support stands;
• It is not allowed to work under the raised load until it is secured by suitable means;
• Need to check the state of the markings and that the markings remain as the initial one.
DANGER
• In case the generated efforts exceed 400N, the efforts shall be lowered by additional persons.
• If you notice a spillage of oil, stop using the product and absorb the oil on the floor with a cloth.
• If the jack cannot be lowered as wished, the car must be secured by a jack stand against unintentional lowering.
Get a new jack, with which you can lift the car, so that the defective jack can be removed. If you are unsure, ask
for professional help.
Maintenance and Repair
WARNING
• Jacks must be maintained and repaired in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. This maintenance
and repair must be carried out by qualified persons.
• Do not make any modifications that adversely affect the compliance of the equipment with the standard
EN 1494:2000+A1:2008.
• User only original accessories and spare parts.
• Check the condition of the markings and that the markings remain in their original state.
• Keep the equipment clean and well lubricated to prevent any foreign objects from entering the hydraulic system.
• Use a mild soap solution to clean external surfaces, but not to clean moving parts or hydraulic system
components.
• Lubricate the device periodically with a general purpose grease. Apply grease to all moving parts and all other
bearing surfaces to prevent premature wear, depending on usage.
• Never fill the device with alcohol, hydraulic brake fluid or transmission oil.
• When refilling the hydraulic system, observe the manufacturer’s instructions for the characteristics of the
hydraulic fluid used in the equipment and the level of the hydraulic fluid.
• Always use ISO VG15 hydraulic oil or equivalent to refill the hydraulic system.
• Perform periodic maintenance, safety checks and repairs according to the intervals specified below.
