Precautions
1. Before beginning any operation, it is mandatory to read this manual of guidelines,
which guarantees the proper functioning and full performance of the product.
2. Become familiar with the application and limitations of the riveter, as well as
the potential hazards.
3. Always check the efficiency and integrity of the product before use.
4. To avoid damaging threads, do not over-tighten with a wrench.
5. Maintenance of the machine: For long-term storage, the external parts of the mandrel
need to be cleaned and coated with a small amount of anti-rust oil or lubricating oil.

How to Change The Mandrel ?
1. Unscrew the nosepiece counterclockwise, either by hand or with the provided wrench
if it is too tight to do so. Always keep the matched mandrel and nosepiece sets together.
Sliding Sleeve
2. Using your thumbnail or a tool, press down to depress the inner hexagonal sleeve
that sits within the outer sleeve. This should expose the lower hex portion of the mandrel.
Then, unscrew the mandrel and remove it.
4
Before using the riveter, you need to check the information in the rivet nut chart and
the thickness of your workpiece to ensure that the riveting range of the rivet nut covers
the thickness of your workpiece. Choose the right mandrel for the rivet nut you are using.
Note: The M8 mandrel is already installed on the tool, so the small box of M8 is empty.
Warning: The thickness of the workpiece should be within the riveting range of the rivet nut,
otherwise it may lead to smaller mandrels snapping, stripping, or riveting failure.

5
3. Fully depress the inner hex sleeve and thread the selected mandrel into the tool
by hand until it reaches the bottom. The mandrel does not need to be torqued.
Release the inner hex sleeve and allow it to fully reengage the hex part of the mandrel.
If the mandrel and inner hex sleeve do not initially align, slightly rotate the mandrel
until the inner sleeve clicks up and reengages.
4. Thread the matching nosepiece into the outer sleeve by hand; torquing
the nose piece is optional.

Parameters for Recognizing Stroke Gauge
Fig1
Fig2
1. Initial State
The top of white line should be at 0mm when the handles are closed (Fig 1).
Open the handles, the top of white line is at 6mm( Fig 2), so the working stroke is 6mm,
the nut height will be decreased by 6mm after riveting.
2. Stroke Check

7
Before riveting any rivnut smaller than M8 or 5/6-18, you need to calculate the
working/compression stroke by using the chart and formula. Taking the M5 rivet
nut working on a 2 mm thick workpiece, for example, the calculation is as follows:
The working stroke = 13.1 mm (L) - 1.0 (k) - 8.0 mm (h) - 2.0 mm (e) = 2.1 mm
1. Open the handles and screw the rivet nut onto the mandrel clockwise
until it is completely on.
2. Pre-drill a hole in the workpiece, if needed, according to the size of
the rivet nut, and insert the rivet nut into the hole.
3. Close the handles to deform the rivet nut in the hole.
