USING YOUR APPLIANCE
BEFORE YOUR FIRST USE:
1. Remove the product from the box.
2. Remove all packaging from the product.
3. Please retain all packaging after you have checked and counted all the parts and the
contents against the list.
4. Dispose of the packaging in a responsible manner.
CONNECTING TO THE MAINS SUPPLY:
• Ensure that the power supply voltage is in the voltage of 100V-240V.
• This unit is designed to use the supplied adapter.
• Connecting the unit to any other power source may cause damage to the unit.
• Unwind the mains cable to its full length. Connect the mains plug to a mains socket.
Make sure the mains plug is fully inserted into the mains socket.
• Ensure all audio connections of the unit are connected before connecting to the mains
power socket.
• Unplug the power cord from the outlet when the unit is use for an extended period of
time.
REMOTE CONTROL:
• The remote control sensor at the front of the sound bar is sensitive to the remote
control’s commands up to a maximum of 6 metres away and within a maximum arc of
40 degrees.
• Please note that the operating distance may vary depending on the brightness of the
room.

SETTING UP YOUR APPLIANCE:
1. When placing the Sound Bar on an entertainment centre, bookshelf or any type of
enclosed space, be sure to allow space around the unit for ventilation.
2. If the unit is enclosed in a tight space without ventilation, heat generated from the unit
could produce a potential heat hazard.
3. Turn On/Off the Sound Bar
4. Press the Power button to bring the speaker out of Standby Mode
5. When powered on press the Power button to place the unit back into Standby Mode.
6. You can use the remote to mirror these operations by pressing the Power button.

USING THE AUX CONNECTION:
1. Use the RCA Stereo Audio Cable to connect the Soundbar to the TV’s stereo RCA [L/R]
socket. Connect one end to the TV’s audio output and the other end into the AUX [L/R]
Sockets of the unit.
2. Then press the AUX button on the remote control or press the source button on the
unit to choose the AUX function.
3. Turn on your television set to use the Soundbar.

USING THE OPTICAL INPUT:
You will need: An audio source with an Optical Audio Output and a Digital Optical Audio
cable (not included).
1. Connect the Digital Optical Audio cable to the optical output on the audio source and to
the Optical Input on the speaker bar.
2. Press the POWER button on side panel or POWER button directly on the remote control
to switch on the unit.
3. Press the OPTICAL button on the remote control to switch to SPDIF Mode or one touch
SOURCE button on main unit repeatedly to select the SPDIF mode. The mode indicator
LED will turn Yellow.
4. Using the native controls on your connected device, make sure the audio settings are
set to PCM or Optical Audio and are turned on.
5. Audio from the connected audio source will now be played through the speakers.

USING YOUR APPLIANCE
USING THE MP3 LINK CONNECTION (LINE IN):
1. Plug one end of a 3.5mm audio input cable (included) into the Line In Port. Before use,
disconnect cables connected to the Stereo RCA Inputs.
2. Plug the other end of the cable into the audio output/headphone output on an MP3
player or other audio source.
3. Press the POWER button on side panel or POWER button directly on the remote control
to switch on the unit.
4. Touch the SOURCE button repeatedly or directly press LINE in button on the remote
control to enter LINE in mode. The mode indicator will turn green.
5. Audio played through the connected device will now be heard through the speakers.

USING THE HDMI (ARC) CONNECTION:
A HDMI connection transmits digital audio signals between devices. If your TV has an HDMI
ARC connector, using them will provide the best possible audio performance quality.
1. Connect the cable to the TV’s HDMI ARC OUT to the Soundbar HDMI ARC IN.
2. On the unit’s side panel, press the POWER button to turn the unit on, and then the
SOURCE button until the HDMI ARC mode is selected. Or press the POWER button and
then HDMI ARC button directly on the remote control. When HDMI ARC is selected, a
yellow LED indicator will be turned on.
If your TV is equipped with HDMI ARC function, you can deliver its sound to the soundbar
via the HDMI ARC TV out connection. It will not require additional audio connections to the
Sound bar. The ARC signal is active when the HDMI ARC source is selected. The benefits
are as follows:
• TV remote control is able to control the power On or Off via the Soundbar.
• TV remote control is able to control the volume up or down via the Soundbar.
• If they are being connected:
(a) When you switch off the Soundbar and switch on again, the TV sound channel will
automatically resume;
(b) When you power on the Soundbar again, TV sound channel will be automatically
closed while Soundbar sound channel will be opened immediately.
