IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

9. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug.
A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other. The wide
blade or the third prong are provided for your safety. If the provided plug
does not t into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the
obsolete outlet.
10. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched, particularly
at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the
apparatus.
11. Use only attachments/accessories specied by the manufacturer.
12. Use only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specied
by the manufacturer, or sold with the apparatus.When a cart is
used, use caution when moving the cart/apparatus combination
to avoid injury from tip-over.
13. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long
periods of time.
14. Refer all servicing to qualied service personnel. Servicing is required when
the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as the power supply cord
or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the
apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not
operate normally, or has been dropped.
15. Warning: To reduce the risk of re or electric shock, do not expose this
apparatus to rain or moisture.The apparatus shall not be exposed to
dripping or splashing and that no objects lled with liquids, such as vases,
shall be placed on the apparatus.
16. The MAINS plug is used as the disconnect device and shall remain readily
operable.
Changes or modications not expressly approved by the party responsible for
compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.

are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference

the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications.
However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular

Mini Guide
The Mini Guide appears when changing
channels or if you press SELECT on a
video.
Press the INFO button to view additional
information about the program you are
currently watching.
If SAP is available, the Mini Guide will
display “OPTION: SAP” Press the
OPTION button to switch between
different audio options.
LIVE TV
Press the LIVE button on your remote
control to view Live TV.
Use the CHAN and CHAN
buttons to change channels.You can
also use the number buttons to enter a
channel number directly. After entering
the rst number, your DVR will display a
list of possible channels to choose from.
Continue entering the channel number,
or use the arrow buttons to highlight and
select a channel from the list.
Video Playback
Your Airbox DVR can pause Live TV.
Press to pause and resume Live TV.
Press the LIVE button to return to Live
T V.
Recording Live TV
To record Live TV, press the REC button
once to record the current program.
To cancel recording Live TV, press the
button.

DVR
The DVR Menu can be accessed by
choosing the DVR tile from the Airbox
Home menu or pressing the DVR button.
My Recordings, Scheduled
Recordings
Your DVR can display programs
alphabetically or by date recorded. Use the
OPTION button to switch between list
views.
Your Airbox DVR groups together
programs in a series.The series names
will have a number showing the number
of episodes recorded or scheduled to be
recorded.
Playback
To watch a recorded program, highlight
the program and press SELECT. Choose
“Play” from the menu.
To fast forward through programs, press
the button.Additional presses of the
button change the forward speed.
To rewind through programs, press the
button.Additional presses of the button
change the rewind speed.
When the time bar is visible, you can also
skip to xed chapters in the program. Press
the corresponding number to go to that
part of the program.
Slow motion playback is available whenever
a program is paused.When paused, press
the or buttons to watch in slow
motion.

Recording Programs
To set recordings, select a program in
the program guide. Follow the menus to
record either a single program, or the
entire series.
You can choose to record extra time
before and after a program. Set your extra
time preferences by selecting Recording
Options.
Canceling a Series Recording
Highlight any program in the series you
wish to cancel and press SELECT to view
program information. Highlight and choose
“Cancel Series” from the options displayed.
Deleting Recordings
To delete a recording, highlight the
program you wish to delete and press
SELECT. Choose “Delete” from the
menu.
Storage
The DVR menus show how much space
has been used.
You can set your DVR to automatically
make room for new recordings by
navigating to Airbox Home: DVR: DVR
Preferences: Program Deletion.
Your DVR may stop recording if your disk
is full. You can also make room for new
recordings by deleting recordings or series
recordings manually.
Events
The Events Menu displays upcoming Pay-
Per-View events.
Highlight an event and press SELECT for
additional event information.
The Events Menu will indicate whether the
Pay-Per-View event has been purchased for
your Airbox DVR.
