5.8Automaticdefrosting
Duringairdrying,icemayformattheevaporator.Thevolumeof icedependson the
ambient conditionsprevailingintheroomtobedried. Theairdryerisequippedwith
an automaticair-defroster. Itensuresthat, depending ontheextent oficeformation,
theappliancewillbedefrostedautomaticallyaccordingtothefollowingprinciple:
ØAtemperaturesensormeasurestheconditionexisting inacriticalareaofthe
evaporator.
ØIfatemperatureof-1°Chasbeenmeasuredforatleast5minutes,it passesa
signalon tothedefrost-system.Duringthedefrostmodethefan keepsrunning,
thecompressorstandsstill. Theiceontheevaporatorisdefrostedwiththehelp
oftheambient air. Dependinguponambienttemperaturethistakesmoreorless
time. Afterconclusionofthedefrost mode(atthelatestafter10 minutes)the
dryerbeginstoworkagaininthenormaldehumidifyingmode.
6. Operating conditions
DH-condensationdryersaresuitablefortheeffortinheatedresidentialbuildings,
garagesandstorerooms.DH-condensationdryersworkproblem-free at the
temperaturerangeof+15 to+32°Candinthecaseofrelativehumidityfrom40%to
95%r.h. .
Theuseinroomswithhighertemperatures(>+32°C)leadstodisadvantagesatthe
compressor. Theuseinroomswithlowertemperatures(<+15°C)isineffectiveand
can lead toicing.
Alsothestorageof thedehumidifierat inadmissibletemperatureconditionscan lead
todamages/problemswhileimmediateswitch-on.Therefore, makepossibleshort
timeforadaptationforthedevicebeforeswitch-on.
ATTENTION:
The appliancemustnotbeusedunderthefollowing conditions:
Øinroomsof potentiallyexplosiveatmosphere
Øinroomsof aggressiveatmospheres,forexampleammoniaand woodacid
ØInroomswithwaterwhichshowsapH-value outside of7,0to7,4. Remark: In
The caseoflowerpH-value, corrosion occursatallmetalsand damagesoccurs
at mortarcontaining materials. InthecaseofhigherpH-value, it comestoirritation
ofskinand eyemucousmembraneandextremelimedeposits.
ØInroomswithsalt orsaltyliquids. Salt content>1%(alsosolebaths).
ØInroomsofairtreatedwithozone
Øinroomsfeaturing ahigh concentration ofsolvents
Øinroomsof anextremelyhigh ratioofdust.
Inthecaseofdoubtfuloperatingconditionsitisrecommendedtocontactthe
TechnicalDepartmentof Messrs. AERIALoraspecializeddealer.
Using aDH-airdryerunderinadequateoperatingconditionswillentail thatthe
warrantybecomes null and void.
