Quantum Pro headset. The Quantum Pro is a
premium product designed to give you years of
quality service.
Please read this manual carefully to ensure you
enjoy all the functions of your Quantum Pro
headset.

Connecting to your telephone using an amplifier
Some telephones require an amplifier to be connected before a headset will
operate. If this is the case please follow the instructions enclosed with your
amplifier.
Contact your supplier if you are unsure whether an amplifier is required.
Connecting the headset to your telephone
Check to see whether your telephone has a dedicated headset socket.
1 If it does, your headset simply plugs in at this point. In this case your
telephone manufacturer has normally provided a headset button
or headset feature with your telephone. Please refer to your
telephone handbook for further details.
2 If your telephone does not have a dedicated headset socket you
will need to utilize the existing handset socket. Simply unplug the
handset and plug in the headset.
Accessories such as the ADDCOM Multi Purpose Switch (01-00013) allow
you to plug both the headset and handset in simultaneously. Contact your
supplier for more information.
Quick Disconnect (ADDQD)
Your headset is equipped with a ADDQD allowing you to walk away from
your desk without removing your headset, freeing you to multitask.
n Before using your headset be sure the two halves of your ADDQD
are connected.
n To unplug your headset, grasp either side of the ADDQD and pull
apart.
n To resume your conversation, reconnect the two halves of the
ADDQD.

Adjusting the Headband
To wear the over head style, place the headset
receiver to your ear(s) and set the T-bar above your
other ear as shown. Adjust the clickstop headband
until comfortable.
The Quantum Pro may be worn on either ear. To
switch sides, simply rotate the microphone boom to
the other side.
Adjusting the Microphone Boom
ADD100 / ADD100D Sound tube
To adjust the microphone boom, rotate the
microphone boom tip to your mouth. The best
position is a 1cm from the corner of your mouth.
Adjusting the Microphone Boom
ADD200NC / ADD200ND Noise Cancelling
To adjust the microphone boom, position the
microphone boom toward your mouth and bend
the rubber part of the microphone to be within 2cm
of your mouth.
Adjusting the Clothing Clip
Fasten the clothing clip at a comfortable level. The
cord should have sufficient slack so the headset is
not disturbed by the movement of your head.
Setup
To remove the headband or the ear hook
Press the ADDLOCK button on the headband and
pull it out from the receiver unit.
To attach the ear hook to headset
Push the ear hook into the receiver unit until it clicks
into place.
Adjusting the ear hook
The ear hook is flexible and can be molded for
optimum comfort.
The ear hook may be worn on either ear. To switch
sides, rotate the ear hook to the opposite side.

Caring for your Quantum Pro
To gain optimal performance, hygiene and lifespan from your headset:
1Clean with the sterilising cloth from an ADDCOM Cleaning Kit every month.
2Replace all consumables (ear foam, microphone foam, rubber microphone
filter) every 6 months.
Caller can not hear me
1 Check cord connections.
2 Check mute button.
3Check amplifier batteries.
4Make sure the microphone is free of obstruction.
5Cord configuration may be different. Please contact your local ADDCOM Office
or distributor.

1 Replace rubber filter (ADD100 / ADD100D Soundtube only).
