Notes Regarding Operational Safety
The below ection of thi U er’ Guide contain information and warning of a kind that mu t be
followed by owner/operator per onnel.
Warning and advi ory ymbol which are u ed on the ba e unit of the Pannoramic® SCAN II and in
chapter 1.1.3 Warning and Information Labels have the following meaning :
CAUTION
Di connect main plug before any kind of intervention into the device!
CAUTION
Cru h hazard!
The Pannoramic® SCAN II, including any of it original acce ory component , hould not be operated
in any other way than de cribed in chapter 1.1.1 Intended Use.
Any of the following note hould be trictly ob erved:

If operating the device other than pecified by the manufacturer, the level of
afety will decrea e.
Caution!
In the event of any non-conforming type of u e, including non-conforming u e
of a emblie or ingle part , no liability will be a umed by the Manufacturer.
Thi hall al o apply to ervice or repair work of any kind, which i performed by
other than duly authorized ervice per onnel. All claim for warranty and
warranty ervice will be null and void in any uch ca e.
Note:
The afety level of the equipment after ervicing will be identical with level of
the original equipment.

In ert the power cord plug only into a grounding outlet. The protective action
mu t not be rendered ineffective by exten ion cable without protective
conductor. The Pannoramic® SCAN II ha a built-in protection which mu t not be
rendered ineffective by exten ion cable without protective (earth-ground)
conductor.

If protective device are found to be ineffective, the Pannoramic® SCAN II mu t
